Modern German Luxury Timepieces

Montblanc” is symbolic of a priceless item filled with tradition and unbeatable craftsmanship; drawing on this reputation they earned as creators of iconic writing instruments, Montblanc aimed to carry the brand’s philosophy of master craftsmanship into watchmaking as well. It is at the Institut Minerva de Recherche en Haute Horlogerie in Villeret that watchmaking experts work to not only preserve and cultivate centuries of horological traditions and training, handed down over the generations, but also to combine it with the evolving technologies and concepts of modern times

Montblanc introduced luxury watches into its product range in 1997 with the establishment of the Montblanc Montre S. A.in Le Locle, Switzerland. For all that it was a new entrant into this prestigious world, the brand made its mark quickly, as evidenced by their presentation of the handcrafted Meisterstück watch at the SIHH that same year.

In 2007, Montblanc brought movement manufacturer Minerva, based in Villeret in the Swiss Alps and renowned for their handmade movements, into its fold and began the in-house manufacture of its movements. At the 2008 SIHH, they unveiled their first completely in-house movement calibre MB R100.

The Montblanc Man and Woman

Every year, with each piece being worked on for up to 300 hours, Montblanc meticulously handcrafts a limited number of watches that are the epitome of exquisite beauty, precision performance and durability.

With watches powered by manual and automatic movements as well as quartz movements, Montblanc gives the elegant men and women of today the chance to make a statement of quality in watches across several collections – the 4810, Heritage Chronométrie, Heritage Spirit, Tradition, 1858, TimeWalker, Star, Star Classique, and Bohème.

Have you considered a Pre-Owned Montblanc Watch?

A pre-owned watch is an ideal choice for those looking to make an entry into the luxury watch market, or add to their watch collection, without spending a small fortune in either case. With a pre-owned Montblanc, the brand guarantees great performance with a beautiful look along with eternal value in a mechanical watch – it forms a sound investment one never regrets!
