There are plenty of luxury timepieces out there—particularly in the pre-owned market—that are available at more affordable price points.

Whether you’re looking for a Breitling, Cartier, OMEGA, Rolex or other top watch brands, here are the ten best watches under 2,000 euros.

1. Breitling Colt Quartz A74380

Magnificent in size and style, the Breitling Colt Quartz movement diver’s watch is complete with a 60 click bezel and is water resistant to 500 meters or 1,650 feet.

The blue-on-blue face and band make this model unique and stylish while featuring a heavy-duty style steel case.

A generously-sized window features the date while the luminous pencil style hands have an added bonus of a red-tipped second hand. The Arabic hour indicators are luminous as well, giving enough light to display the second indicators along with the outer dial.

Founded in 1884 by Leon Breitling, Breitling SA is still located in Grenchen, Switzerland and enjoys a reputation of certifying all models as chronometers, the most extreme operation test a watch can undergo.

Each movement is tested over several days in different positions, temperatures and other extremes by a neutral certification company that pronounces it ISO 3159 certified.

 2. Breitling Colt Ocean A64050

A true diver’s watch, the Breitling Colt Ocean is a steel beauty with a complimenting brown leather band. Featuring a 60 click bezel, the 36 mm diameter is easily worn by a medium size wrist.

The hours are displayed in Arabic, with seconds indicated along the outer sweep of the dial for the red-tipped second hand to indicate. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock in an easily viewed window of generous size.

The Breitling Colt is water resistant to 500 meters or 1,650 feet and has luminous hands and hour markers.

One of the biggest names in technical and sporty luxury watches, Breitling enjoys a large and loyal following. The Swiss watchmakers remain as one of the few independent watch companies that produce high-quality chronographs and aviation-focused timepieces on a large scale.

The Colt line is Breitling’s entry-level collection offering both quartz and automatic movements housed in a masculine and sporty case.

While Breitling Colt watch models retail from €3,000 – €5,000, the ability to find these timepieces, in solid condition, in the pre-owned market, for under €2,000, is not difficult.

 3. Bvlgari Carbongold Men’s Carbon BB 38 CL CH

The automatic Bvlgari Carbongold Carbon model, like all Bvlgari timepieces, is entirely crafted at the company located in Switzerland. The Carbon is designed to feature the precision of Switzerland and the creativity of Italy in one.

The Carbon is a sleek, simple timepiece that features a 33 mm case perfect for a small to medium sized wrist. Sophisticated enough for business, the Carbon is also sporty enough for everyday casual wear.

Baton hour markers except for the 12 and 6 o’clock Arabic numerals keep the face sleek while the date is displayed in a discrete window at 3 o’clock. A durable yet fashionable brown leather band completes the look.

Not only a watch brand, Bvlgari also produces jewelry, fragrance, luxury goods, accessories, and hotels. Owned by a Milan conglomerate, the company actually began in Greece with one shop. The actual watch business was started in 1970 by the founder’s son, Gianni Bulgari.

Very few watch brands are as famous, influential, and sought-after as Cartier. From producing the very first pilot’s watch with the Santos to the iconic Tank timepiece inspired by military tanks of the early 20th century, Cartier watches are prized for their elegant and recognizable silhouettes.

The Cartier Tank Solo collection features the most straightforward versions of the famous watch and is equipped with quartz movements. They bear the classic Cartier hallmarks such as the Roman numerals, blue cabochon-cut stone on the winding crown, and blue sword-shaped hands.

Starting at around €2,500 at retail, a pre-owned Cartier Tank Solo is certainly one of the best watches under 2,000 euros.  For more read our Cartier Tank Solo Review.

The Montblanc Hombre Heritage Spirit collection from Montblanc offers plenty of value for the cost. Its fundamental design is very restrained, showcasing traditional fine watchmaking aesthetics, therefore, a great choice for an elegant dress watch.

The Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie lineup runs the gamut from an ultra slim steel model with only two center hands to more complicated versions in gold, with the former priced at about €2,000 when purchased straight from the company.

The secondary market, on the other hand, offers a wide variety of Montblanc Heritage Chronométrie references for well under €2,000.

 8. Baume et Mercier Classima Quartz MV045193

The Baume et Mercier Classima Quartz is a stunning example quality craftsmanship and sophisticated style. Featuring a champagne colored dial and Roman numeral hour indicators, the steel case is complemented by a rich brown leather band.

The Classima is a very sleek watch, perfect for small to medium sized wrists at only 35 mm. Perfect for business or casual wear, the Classima also wouldn’t be out of place with a dapper tuxedo.

Baume et Mercier is a luxury watchmaker founded in Switzerland in 1830 in the heart of the Swiss Jura mountains. The company has a rich history of unconventionally shaped designs for its wristwatches that looked beyond the round dial.

The Classima is a classic round, however, and speaks to today’s desire for timeless sophistication.

9. OMEGA Speedmaster

One of the most famous watches in modern history, the OMEGA Speedmaster will forever be known as the first watch to travel to the moon during the historic lunar landing in 1969.

Nicknamed the “Moonwatch”, the OMEGA Speedmaster is the brand’s sporty chronograph with different models within the line.

With its distinct design, automatic movement, and significant history, an OMEGA Speedmaster is quite possibly the best watch under 2,000 euros in the pre-owned market. Although brand new Speedmasters are much more expensive than that, thanks to its long history there are plenty of secondhand Speedmasters at super reasonable prices.

Featuring a steel case and a minimalist round dial, the Eliros has elegant Roman numeral and baton numbering in white on the sun brushed anthracite dial. The date display window is located at 3 o’clock while the graceful sword-style hands indicate the time.

Setting off the whole look is the milanais style bracelet and secure clasp. The heart of the watch is the Swiss-made quartz movement, a high-quality movement style that is known all over the world for reliability and longevity.

Award-winning Maurice Lacroix watches have been recognized for their design, craftsmanship and ingenious creative style.

The company values include quality, reliability, determination and fresh designs, which go into all their technologies. Relentlessly seeking new ways to deliver time and reward loyal customers, Maurice Lacroix insists, “success is a journey, not a destination.”

Tudor Heritage Ranger

Tudor is yet another brand that offers significant value relative to its pricing. Plus, with its contemporary and thoughtful designs, it’s proactively carving out its own brand identity rather than just being a less expensive alternative to its sibling company Rolex.

The Tudor Heritage Ranger is a vintage-inspired model based on a 1960s piece within the brand’s archives. Therefore, it’s an utterly modern watch that proudly shows off a retro vibe. The Tudor Heritage Ranger can be purchased at retail for a little less than €3,000 or from the secondary market for about €2,000 in mint unworn condition.
